City Park
This is one of the largest urban parks in the United States, and a popular place to fish on the bayou, picnic, or experience safe outdoor play. This is also where we took our engagement photos as well as one of the first places Kevin visited when he visited NOLA for the 1st time
French Truck Coffee
This is Kevin's favorite place to grab coffee whenever we are in town, especially when exploring the great thrift and antique stores on Magazine street!
Audubon Park
When we were living in Metairie, we loved walking around Audubon Park and experiencing the live oak trees.
Cafe Degas
When Kevin came to New Orleans for the first time, I had to take him here for lunch. Order the French Onion Soup, you'll thank me later.
The Velvet Cactus
Gillian and Kevin's favorite (and probably the best) Mexican restaurant in New Orleans! You have to get their tequila flight. Bonus if you walk around City Park afterwards!
New Orleans Museum of Art
This is the first place Gillian took Kevin when he came to New Orleans for the first time! We may have stolen a few kisses in some of the galleries ;)
Café Du Monde
If you have not had a beignet yet in New Orleans, what are you doing? We recommend the location in City Park where we took our engagement photos.

A tea room plus tarot reading that Jason recommended to us when he came to New Orleans! A truly New Orleans experience that lives up to the hype.
